About M&A Source

The M&A Source podcast is brought to you by M&A Source. As a non-profit professional organization serving mergers and acquisitions professionals around the world, we provide this show as a way to continue the conversations and training that are often found at our biannual conferences.

We provide training, education, stories, and other content that those in the mergers and acquisitions profession benefit from. Members come on the show as guests, private equity groups, lenders, CPA’s, attorneys - pretty much anyone involved in the M&A ecosystem is welcome to come on and provide insights and stories for our membership.

Of course, you don’t need to be a member of M&A Source to listen or even come on the show as a guest. As long as you have an interest in advancing the profession and helping small to lower mid-market businesses to be successful, we can find a microphone for you!

You can add your voice at any time by clicking the green “Send Voicemail” tab on the right side of your browser window. Voice clips left there may find themselves in the show, so be sure to tell us who you are and where you’re from!

If you’d like to be a guess on the show, we have a guest intake form available here on the site. Simply fill that out and let us know you’d like to join us. Not everybody gets on the show, but it’s fun when you do!

Here, we share wisdom and perspectives between members, tell stories, clarify the meaning of key concepts, get to know our ecosystem, and generally strengthen our tribe of mergers and acquisition professionals around the world. If our conferences are our proverbial bonfires, the our podcast and Webinars are our little campfires.

David has a history with media and communications. He produced his first film in 1994 as a way to reach young people with the message of not mixing alcohol and driving. With the help of the College of Charleston, the US Navy, and 22 other civilian and military organizations - including the Mayor of Charleston South Carolina, he produced a 22-minute film titled Images and Words, the other side of D.U.I.

He has since produced three podcast programs. His first was published in 2005 and was directed to a global audience of military healthcare leaders around the world when he served as the Chief for Defense Business Transformation for the Military Healthcare system. That show served as a tool to help him reach a global audience and speak with key leaders across time zones about the complexities of Business Transformation.

His second show was born from a need to take pressure off his inbox and share key concepts with members of the 501(c)3 he chaired from 2016-2023. That show expanded to a global audience… Read More
